Long-term transformative effects and integration challenges of psychedelic experiences

This study looked into the transformative effects and integration challenges of psychedelic experiences with psilocybin lysergic acid diethylamide (LSD) for Romanian population. The aim was to determine long-term individuals might encounter during process. employed a sequential mixed method design, using qualitative interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) six interview participants, followed by quantitative survey 39 responses. data led multi-layered hierarchical model themes subordinate ranging from changes in perception self, emotional transformation, spiritual interpersonal personal, interpersonal, cultural challenges. results made it possible compare group broader national sample, sample's statistical similarity provided extra validity smaller sample thematic findings. inspired transformation persisting positive all participants. However, nature journey ranged mild difficulties more substantial ones. Interpersonal such as communication challenges, absence supportive community oppressive legislation were common. Further in-depth cross-cultural studies on topic are necessary confirm differences.
